Section N - Children's Farmyard Nursery
If you think your pet is special and deserves some recognition, why don’t you enter it in the Children’s Farmyard Nursery (Sponsored by City Farmers) at the Kelmscott Annual Show. It doesn’t matter if your pet is a cat or dog, lamb, bird, guinea pig, crazy crab, chicken, mouse or rat. The Children’s Farmyard Nursery is open to children of all ages to enter their pets of all shapes and sizes.
To enter your pet in the Children’s Farmyard Nursery and be in the running to win prize money and award cards, just pick up a Kelmscott Annual Show Schedule in August or September, fill out the entry form and return it to us before 5pm, October 12th 2009. The schedule and entry form can be downloaded from the downloads page, or collected from around the district at one of the places listed here. If you are from outside the district, phone or email us and we will send you a schedule.
The classes that are available to be entered into in this section are as follows (See page 53 of the Schedule for more details and conditions of entry)
:
• Female and Progeny
• Guinea Pigs, Pet - Non standardised
• Mice
• Cat or Kitten
• Puppy or Dog
• Bird in Cage - Budgerigar, or Canary, or Galah etc
• Fish
• Crazy Crabs
• Any other pet, large
• Any other pet, small

The Entry Fee is 50cents per entry and 1st Prize is $4 and 2nd Prize is $2. There is also the Cyril Rushton Memorial award for most points in children's farmyard nursery and also the City Farmers Award for best Children's farmyard exhibit.
