Only 9 days until the 113th Show!

The big weekend is right around the corner with a mere nine days to go! Are you as excited as we are?

This years theme is Life on the Land incorporating the Circle of Life. This is represented through the life cycle of a chicken, that stereotypical farm animal. A chicken is hatched from an egg, is tended lovingly by the mother hen, suffers separation only to sacrifice it's life, as a roast perhaps, so we humans can be nourished. The remainder of the chicken breaks down as food for insects, which enrich the soil, allowing plants to grow, which in turn feed the chickens that have hatched from the eggs. This cycle continues infinitely in the circle of life.
