Volunteers needed for 2011!

The Kelmscott Agricultural Society is a not-for-profit organisation which runs the Kelmscott Annual Show.  The Society is run by volunteers from around the district (and further afield) who give up their time to ensure that the people of our district can have an enjoyable day out at the show.

The Kelmscott Agricultural Society is urgently in need of people who can volunteer their time to assist in the running of the show.  It does not matter how old or young you are, or how little time you have.  There are many people who help out at the show who are not members of the Society and the Kelmscott Agricultural Society values their ongoing assistance.

If you would like to join the society and attend meetings through the year, then the types of positions are as indicated on the officials page.  The following positions are on the committee and we are always after applicants to assist the official in the position and to move into the position at a later date:

If you don't want to attend meetings during the year we always have the following positions available:

Stewards, who look after the exhibits at the show
Groundsmen and women who assist in the setting up and pulling down of the show
Computer Operators and checkers for the Friday typing pool
People to operate the information desk
Miscellaneous positions
