2:45pm to 3:15pm | Peppermint Dance Company The Peppermint Dance Co. (PDC) was established in May 2006 by Director, Nadia Schimmel. It was created with an aim to achieve a different outlook to dancing, to make dance fresh, funky and fun again. Most of all, the goal was to change the outlook of the dancing world; that high standards of dance can still be achieved in a fun family-like atmosphere. PDC began holding Jazz classes on Monday nights for three age groups and within weeks, new days and classes were added to the timetable to keep up with the influx and demands of students. PDC in 2 years has grown to over 200 students participating in a variety of over 25 classes including Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Boys only and Adults. Peppermint students now perform and entertain audiences all over the state. The rapid growth in student numbers has proven that this fresh outlook was exactly what Perth had been looking for. Visit http://www.peppermintdance.com.au/ for more information about this entertainment group. |

Celtic Spirit on the Oval Stage
Stone Circle is all about the music… Rock Music, that is. In all its myriad forms and flavours.
Classic guitar driven songs peppered with hints of prog rock and blues. Lyrics with a sense of heart and a sense of humour. Melodies that linger, hooks that catch, players that aren’t afraid to play and a vocalist who sings from the soul. All of this flavoured in that unique and indefinable way that characterizes Oz Rock.
